Sarfaraz A Steven Boyle, a special effects specialist turned filmmaker co-wrote his directorial debut "The Demon Disorder," an Australian body horror film. The film tells the story of three brothers, one of whom experiences demonic possession similar to their father's. The film implies interesting humor into a serious story. The plot centers on brothers who are in turmoil yet have great bonds with one another, as well as their father, whom one of them killed following his demonic possession and who had asked them to never hesitate in getting rid of him.The film story paces fast without boring the audience, and the cast does not convey the impression of amateur artists. It is entertaining. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/23/24 Full Review Hugo S After the death of their father, three brothers reunite in their family's childhood farmhouse. The idea is to support the youngest of the simblings, who is showing signs of a violent demonic possession similar to the one shown by the late father. "The Demon Disorder" explores the generational trauma of a family cursed with an evil beyond comprehension. The drama of the three brothers is amplified with elements of body horror presented with grotesque physical mutations. The movie treats demonic possession as a hereditary physical disease, an original approach to this horror subgenre. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/21/24 Full Review Jerod S The demon is physical and slimy like the old horror movies - but somehow done pretty well. Tongues and eyeballs growing in your body. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review Holland W Hardcore Horror lover here but this one stunk. Slow, disjointed with a whole lot of build up to not much. Just didn’t really make any good sense. I thought the “monster” might evolve into something but it really didn’t. I wouldn’t recommend it. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review SANDY B I thought it was pretty good. It had humor and horror! Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/12/24 Full Review Horror fan 4 The creature looked creepy and the effects were good. Not very scary though.
